Born with a severe to profound sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL), Morris suffers from auditory deprivation. Our founder’s journey has been one of determination, adaptability, and resilience. At a time when hearing aids were still in their infancy, he always required the most powerful technology available.
Through perseverance and the unwavering support of his family, Morris learned to lip read, speak, and communicate with confidence. From elementary through high school, he was dedicated to afternoon classes and tutoring three to four days per week— developing the focus and discipline that define his leadership today.
Morris’s entrepreneurial path began early, working in his father’s wholesale business as a teenager. That hands-on experience laid a strong foundation for future success, eventually leading to the co-founding of an apparel business that grew to $24 million in annual sales.
